Can you mop a waxed floor?

Author: Mock Webware |

It is possible to mop a waxed floor, but it's important to be cautious about the type of cleaning solution used and how it is applied. Using a harsh or abrasive cleaning solution or applying it in an excessive amount can strip the wax from the floor and cause damage.
For regular maintenance, it's recommended to use a neutral pH cleaner and a damp mop to clean the floor. Avoid using excessive water or allowing water to stand on the floor for an extended period of time as it can damage the wax and the flooring. It's also important to note that the frequency of mopping will depend on the level of foot traffic and the environment. For example, a commercial kitchen floor will require more frequent mopping than a retail store floor.
