How long after a floor is waxed Can you walk on it?

The amount of time that you should wait before walking on a newly waxed floor can vary depending on the type of wax being used, the ambient temperature and humidity of the room, as well as the surface of the flooring.
In general, it's recommended to wait for at least 4-6 hours after the wax has been applied before walking on it. This will give the wax enough time to dry and set, and ensure that it adheres properly to the floor.
For some types of wax, a longer waiting time may be needed. For example, if the floor has been coated with a water-based wax, it may take up to 24 hours for it to dry completely. And for some types of flooring such as VCT, a recommended waiting time can be even longer.
